About the campaign

When I stood for election in 2008 in the UpperRoss, I, and my family spent $28,000 plus. What a waste of money. Faces on posters – all that paper silly”how to vote” cards. I refuse to do that again. Definitely our voting system needs an overhaul – bring on online voting as an option, along with 3 booths maybe.

But right now – the competitors have spent more than estimated $30 000 on Dametto’s campaign. I’m running a word of mouth campaign, much more ground roots based on trusting the integrity of Townsvillians. But I’d love a TV ad and/or radio ad and those ugly corflutes are $15 each ! Do they work ?

So please if you can give even $10 – it will all add up.

If elected I will give every dollar donated back to Brighter Lives, the official charity partner of Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
